In 2012, Irish artist Sarah Browne is working with the Ikon Youth Programme and Slow Boat on a new project, Scarcity Radio. This runs parallel with her exhibition at Ikon, How To Use Fools Gold, which ran from February 14 to April 29, 2012.
The Scarcity Radio project involves the artist working with IYP to address our understandings of scarcity in relation to material resources and social communication. For more information about this please visit the Ikon Slow Boat website.
This project is supported by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, Canal & River Trust and Sandwell Council.
